Audi has unveiled the facelifted lineup of the A3 series, which includes the A3 Sportback, A3 Saloon, and A3 Allstreet. Featuring modernised exteriors, redesigned interiors, enhanced MMI systems, and a plethora of new features. Audi is also set to broaden the A3 range later this year with the introduction of the high-performance S3 and an eco-friendly plug-in hybrid model.

Audi have taken the model's beloved features and enhanced them to create an even more compelling package. Here's what fans of the brand can expect from the new A3, which promises to set new benchmarks in its class.

Design Evolution

The new A3 retains the model's style while introducing a more assertive stance. The updated model features a broader, flatter hexagonal grille, giving the car a more powerful presence. Redesigned headlights complement the new grille, with optional customisable LED daytime running lights. The rear end follows suit with a new bumper and diffuser, drawing inspiration from Audi's high-performance S and RS models. This design overhaul extends to new paint options, including the eye-catching District Green and Progressive Red.

Interior Refinements

Inside, the A3's cabin receives a few updates, making it more comfortable and intuitive. The new gear selector and redesigned air vents contribute to the cabin's modern feel, while enhanced interior lighting and updated materials, including recycled polyester, elevate the overall ambiance. Standard across the range, the Audi Virtual Cockpit and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system ensure that drivers have all the necessary information and entertainment at their fingertips.

Technology at Your Fingertips

Audi has integrated advanced technology to improve the A3's connectivity and safety features. The latest MMI system, now with Amazon Alexa integration, allows for seamless interaction with the vehicle's controls. Safety features like Audi Pre-sense, adaptive cruise assist, and lane departure warning provide peace of mind.

Under the Hood

The A3 facelift offers a choice between the 35 TFSI with a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid petrol engine which has an output of 148 bhp and is offered with a seven-speed S tronic auto gearbox at launch. Meanwhile the 35 TDI 2.0-litre diesel also has an output of 148 bhp, and also gets the S tronic box. Additionally, Audi has announced the introduction of a plug-in hybrid variant, currently called the ‘TFSI e’, further expanding the A3's appeal to eco-conscious drivers.

Introducing the A3 Allstreet

The facelift introduces an exciting new variant – the A3 Allstreet. This model combines the practicality of an estate with the ruggedness of an SUV, featuring increased ground clearance and unique design elements like wider wheel arches and dark rocker side skirts.

In summary, the Audi A3 facelift builds upon the strengths of its predecessors while introducing significant enhancements. With its updated design and refined interior, the new A3 is poised to continue its legacy as a favourite among premium compact car enthusiasts.
