With its debut, BMW ushers in a new era of electric vehicles under the 'Neue Klasse' banner, following the showing of the electric ‘Vision’ 3 Series saloon (shown below) last year.

The BMW Vision Neue Klasse X stands out with its clear, elegant, and timeless design style. Boasting an iconic new BMW kidney grille reimagined as a three-dimensional sculpture and backlit for a dramatic effect. The exterior introduces a sleek, futuristic look while retaining the make's heritage through some small elements like the Hofmeister kink.

Inside, the Vision Neue Klasse X redefines luxury and space. The cabin offers an 'airy spaciousness' with simplistic design elements, warm colours, and advanced ergonomic features. A large central touchscreen paired with the new BMW Panoramic Vision projects important information across the windshield, ensuring that every passenger can enjoy the journey in comfort and style.

It has not been said what sort of range we can expect from the Vision Neue Klasse X, but it will feature cutting edge 800-volt architecture for rapid charging, meaning drivers could expect as much as 186 miles worth of range from just a ten-minute charge. The vehicle is set to redefine electric driving dynamics, equipped with high-performance computers that control everything from torque delivery to suspension behaviour, signalling a new age of 'sheer driving pleasure'.

The Vision Neue Klasse X is more than just a vehicle, it's a preview of BMW's future direction.
